Ian Smith is an American hero. He is not perfect, but mythic heroes never really are. Ian’s just some guy who stood his ground, who pushed back against tyranny and corruption when other men wanted to but did not. In doing that, he reminded men everywhere what was possible — what we could do and should do if we want to remain free men. Smith has become a symbol of resistance and a powerful speaker, and I do not believe that thishero’s journey — or his story — is over yet.

I respected Ian for risking his entire livelihood to oppose the tyrannical lockdowns. I hope in the future people will look back and use Ian as motivation to not bow down to unlawful government restrictions.

Ian is the definition of “fearless.” While the world shut down businesses and common sense, Ian spoke truth to power and stood for freedom. His courage was contagious, and every Liberty-loving American can learn from his story.

America loves a comeback story... Ian is that man! What I admire about him is that he learned from the burden he created for himself which landed him in prison years ago. He paid his dues and carried it to the fastlane of achievement. During COVID, when America needed someone to stand up for what was right, he led a movement that reinvigorated America’s backbone to stand up against lockdowns while also helping his community... This story is a must read!

Ian Smith is in my definition what Americans should be. Big, strong, bold, and brash. I have known Ian for some time and one thing that I will tell you is his character and integrity is second to none and will not be tarnished or broken. Ian sticks to what he believes in and that is rare these days. He is one of the few red-blooded Americans left and I am proud to call Ian my friend and my brother.

I fully endorsed Ian Smith to run for Congress. He is exactly the kind of guy who needs to be in a leadership position in our Government. Ian Smith stood up for this country.

I remember when I first heard of a gym owner in NJ that kept his gym open despite facing enormous pressure from the state government. I remember thinking how rare it is to find someone with the courage to take a leap of faith and do the right thing, despite not necessarily knowing about the outcome or maybe even caring about the negative secondary effects to oneself personally. There are few men in this world like that. Ian Smith is one of the most courageous people I’ve ever seen from afar, although as a fellow New Jerseyan, I feel a special kinship with a person from my state who fights. In a country that so predicated on fear of fear, meeting Ian in NewYork at the 2021 NYC Young Republican Gala was refreshing. He’s one of only a few people I’ve ever met that I asked for a picture with!

Ian is a warrior! When most wilted to unconstitutional lockdowns, Ian and Atilis Gym defied cowardly groupthink and inspired a nation. They are the definition of free citizens fighting back the right way. We’d better learn from Ian and his courageous leadership — or we will lose our freedoms.

When I first met Ian it was after someone tagged me in a post where he was wearing a LIONS NOT SHEEP hat. I was intrigued to connect with this patriot and after a simple conversation I knew he was a brother. After a tyrannical government forced him to remove the doors of his business and then watching him kick in the boards placed over those doors, I knew that there were men who would indeed stand. It takes balls to speak your mind. It takes even bigger balls to stand against oppression and say FREE MAN HERE. Ian has literally inspired millions of people, me included.
